SWGA Jamboree 2026 Results

The winners this year were the South of England.
Scotland were runners-up and were therefore awarded the Tony Moffat Quaich.
This was the first time Scotland has won this trophy, which was particularly special to me as Tony Moffat was a member of Aberdeen Ladies, my home club and I knew her very well.
Worthing was a tough course. It was hilly, very burnt and bouncy due to the hot, dry weather this year and the greens were fast and very tricky. This was definitely an advantage for the South team because they knew the course well. It was unfortunate that we played them on Day 1.
With 12.5 game points, Scotland finished a very creditable 2nd on count back.
I was very honored to have been the Scottish Captain on this occasion.
Well done to all the team players.
Alison Davidson, Louise Fraser, Gillian Kyle, Hilary Laughland, Jillian Lough, Karen Marshall, Jenny Milne, and Elaine Moffat who gave their all and showed fantastic team spirit throughout.

Scotland are Champions 2025

Scotland won the Miller Stirling Salver in a nail biting afternoon at Kilmarnock Barassie. Having won the opening two matches against the south and the midlands our girls were one win away from overall dominance. The girls put up a fighting performance against the north but were narrowly beaten by 5.5 - 3.5. A nervous wait on the result of the match between midlands and south added to the tension. This match was thankfully tied and the team and the officials could relax and enjoy the moment. Its 15 years since we last won this event. We therefore congratulate Captain Lynne Fraser and her victorious team for this achievement. All results and final standings can be found on the opening page of our website.
