Following discussion with other Veteran Ladies Golf Associations, it was decided that the term Veteran had become outdated, and that Senior Women would be more in keeping with the times.
At the 2023 AGM this proposal was floated to the membership, and that local discussion should take place, with a view to making a final decision at the 2024 AGM.
In 2024 the decision was made to change the Association name to
Scottish Senior Women's Golf Association.
